Meets on different dates at different times, trying everything that the city centre and Greater Manchester has to offer vegans – as well as doing stuff just for the hell of it. Manchester Animal Action (MAA) Vegan Outdoors Manchester Animal Action campaigns locally against all forms of animal abuse. These activities can range from promoting veganism to holding demonstrations against animal circuses, to travelling to national events. Cake Liberation Front Baking group for those interested in cooking without animal ingredients. A monthly vegan potluck event kindly hosted at V Revolution on Oldham Street (see Eating Out in Manchester). Every attendee should bring at least one dish – this can be a starter, main course, or dessert. You can bring more than one along if you like! They have socials, promote veggie and vegan interests on campus and run veggie and vegan mentor schemes for those interested in becoming veggie or vegan.
